Day #28, Spin on Summer

I couldn't get the spinning of my camera right , so I just had this fun friend spin for me and got this great photo. I did a little processing, first I made it look older to get a 60s/70s look, then I processed it more to get the "spinny" look.



Day 27, Getting the Giggles

I just couldn't resist using this. From Busch Gardens, he just seems to be having the "last laugh" on all those watching him.

Day 25, The Magic Number

Knew I just had to go back to earlier this month for this. My niece at her 1st b-day party with her special cake. She has turned into my "little muse". Can't wait to see her again in a couple of weeks to photograph more of her.

Sandhill Crane

Freaked out yesterday when I saw these in the field next to Liberty School. Was very excited that they were back again today and had my camera. Researched and found out this is a Sandhill Crane.

Huge wing span.  Can be up to 6 to 8 feet

This pic is one I found on the internet to identify it.

Day 22, Girl put your Recornd On

The summer song around here is "Chicken Fried" by The Zac Brown Band, actually there are 3 songs #5 and I are hooked on by them. We spend alot of time in the car together, and this is at the top of our playlist. Sorry, no chicken for dinner tonight, but as the song goes, ............"a cold beer on a Friday Night, a pair of jeans that fit just right and the radio on......"

Day 21, Spacey

Had to lay in the dry grass to get this pic of the sprinkler just waiting to put on. HOT, HOT, HOT, here AGAIN!

Day 19, Jump Shot

Had to go back to April for this one. It is SOOOOOOO HOT here today, there is no one outside to jump for me.

Day 18, Play Time

When my son was 2 years old he discovered Batman. I saved all his batman toys, figures include Batman, Robin, and every villan you could think of, not to mention the Batcave and various vehicles. He spent MANY hours playing with these toys. He is turning 16 in a few weeks, and it makes me a little sad that my little boy is no longer little and playing with these toys and thinking he WAS Batman. Now "Bat"man means something totally different to him, aka, baseball.

 

 

Day 17, Visual Interest

My favorite pendant, my kiss, a birthday gift from my mom in February. The back is just as interesting at the front.

Day 15, Picture Postcard

From last year's trip to FLA. Of course it was a baseball trip, but was still a great trip. The water actually looked this perfect. No processing, just the post card effect.

Day 15, Summer Breeze

This was hard. It was such a nice day here, there wasn't alot of wind. So, I just walked around the yard waiting for the slighest of breeze taking picutres of myself. Maybe if my hair were longer. My family, friends and neighbors must think I'm crazy walking around taking pictures of myself. I keep telling them it's all in the name of art and creativity.

Day 13, Juice Fruit/New Baby

Took LOTS of photos of real fruit, but kept coming back to this.

Went to visit a friend and her new baby boy.  So tiny and so cute.

This adorable 2 year old is another friend's boy.

He knew exactly how to use my I-Pod.
